I'm happy with my pots and strikers when it's fair weather. Need a pot and striker for the soaking rain days. Tired of just using mouth calls on those days and want something that will carry through the humid wet air....

Being able to purr when wet is a must.

Thanks Andy, I ordered his aluminum pot, and also bought the wet one striker to try out on my current glass calls. Very reasonable prices actually. I can't stand it when companies charge $25 for just a striker

I don't see him on the list of exhibitors at the NWTF convention. He won't be there under a different name will he?

I'm pretty sure he doesn't attend.. I've looked before and never saw him

I got my Thunder Extreem call in with the carbon tip striker and tried it after putting it under the faucet. It ran fine!

Thanks, Andy, for the info! I've been needing one that will run wet to add to the arsenal!
 
Yes, the silver thunder is a great call.... tore my pet backyard gobbler up. Love the fact u can flip it over for soft calls up close

Oh... and you can make this pot run LOUD... prob the highest volume I've heard on a pot. Rivals if not surpasses box calls.

2 more weeks and we'll try it out on the juvie hunt.

I was really surprised watching the video when he flipped it and played the call on the backside, the sounds it made would get a gobbler into serious do do.
 
I did order #2 after getting my STE to get one of his wet strikers that works on wet glass (haven't tried it yet) and his conditioning kit. The kit is a neat collection of virtually all the stuff you need to condition all types of pot calls in a compact plastic case. The price is hard to beat for what you get and the versatility.

I tried the wet striker I got from Enticer this afternoon on my Crystal Mistress with water standing on it. It worked and sounded great. I won't be looking forward to rainy days, but won't dread them quite as much with the new toys in the arsenal!
 
Just got the STE aluminum out of the mail box. Dang that thing is shrill on the front and soft on the back with the Corian pot! Dumped a whole bottle of water on it and the carbon striker, and not one slip it's impressive, compared to where the slightest humidity will affect almost all my other pots as always thanks Andy!
 
Glad to hear Al is still making quality pots, just as I have experienced. My pot is 5+ years old, but it's been a good one. Outside of playing wet, it basically serves as two pots in one, which is also an added bonus. Thanks for the reports back, glad everyone is satisfied.
 
Yes you do TN Larry the carbon tip striker is what he recommends on slate and aluminum. And the wet one striker has a aluminum peg recommended for any glass call. The silver thunder extreme comes with a laminated striker

Well, this post cost me $75. :)

I got mine yesterday, and it sounds good either dry or wet. I need to do some turkey call thinning but plan on keeping this one.

I have not bought one yet. It was going to be $40 for the tulipwood shipped. Midwest is not showing the tulipwood laminate anymore. I really don't need it so going to see if I can pick up a slightly used one at some point.
