i went out yesterday scouting a little bit to a place that i have killed many a deer. well my delimia is that while looking around, i bumped what i think was a buck right inside the woods. we turned and run down the ridge, and blew one time. my question is, do i stay away, or do you think its good to hunt Friday afternoon with this big front moving through? the hill i was on is covered in rubs and scrapes, incluing a scrape in front if my stand about 5 feet and a rub beside the tree my stand is on. thanks in advance guys....

I'm gonna try it Friday then. Reason this spot is so good in my opinion is I rarely hunt it. I duck hunt more than anything, but every time I go to this stand, I usually kill or see a nice buck. It's just a small hill that has a oak ridge that runs on 3 sides and is about 75 yards from where they bed. Acorns are loaded and there are rubs and scraps all around the edge under the oak trees. Cold weather coming through should have them on there feet I'm thinking.

Hunt it! Happens all the time and the will come back at some point. Especially this time year! This has been my experience.
