Maybe a common thing but this is the reddest head on a hen I've ever seen

Hey I'm not claiming to be an expert lol... just figured the brown belly it was a hen, but if I'm wrong by all means tell me please

Ok, so some quick research I probably should've done before posting... definitely a juvenile drake... it's been a very slow season for us (love and duck hunt east Tn) but that's the 4th redhead we've killed this year, only killed 2 others in the previous six years... mostly gadwalls mallards and shovelers with the occasional wigeon and teal... oh well learned something new today lol
