NE TN - National Forest [Big Creek Road]

Is anyone familiar with this road? Its off 19E when going from Bluff City/Piney Flats to Elizabethon. It actually comes up on Google maps street view and looks to be a small one lane road that is partially paved and gravel.

It starts a little above where B is on that map.

I was wondering if that is public National Forest access on that road?

Yes it's almost all NF lands. It goes from 19e all the way to 421 above south holston lake. I believe the road is called camp Tom Howard if u come in from the 421 side. The same rd that takes u to little oak camp ground.

I went up there year before last during rifle season just to look around and check it out. I hunted the other end near the lake and found some good size rubs and a few scrapes but its about like the public land around Erwin and Unicoi that I hunt,(not many deer), but I'm sure if u put in the time and miles u can find a big old mountain buck to hunt up there.

Ya camp tom Howard runs off 421 then goes all the way into carter county
