Navionics Lake Map Card

Got me one of these Navionics Lake Map cards. Anyone have one, how in the world did you register the thing so you can view it on the PC? Ridiculous, this thing isn't easy to do at all!

Nevermind. Finally found it.

You can't view the card on your pc. There is a separate software package that you need. The card is only for your sonar unit.

yeah, there is a PC app you can download, just couldn't find the registration link. apparently you have to register by updating the card, then can download the PC app. Got her going now!

If you can find Navionics Hotmaps Explorer on Ebay it is pretty nice.
I found mine for less than 10 bucks a few years ago. You can really
eliminate some water. You can also create waypoints then load them to your sonar.

yeah, finally got this dude working. Card lets you download the PC app, and you can view all the maps on your computer, create waypoints, routes, etc.. then plug it in your unit. Pretty happy with it. Could see how it really would be useful for a lake you dont run that often.

You can search EBAY, CraigsList, and other Fishing Forums and maybe find a used one someone is selling. Other than that, all the prices on-line and in stores are about the same give or take a few dollars

I have the EAST card myself and really like it. I need to get the pc app downloaded myself? Wheres the best place to start?

got to plug chip in the reader then plug reader in computer, then should have a link to download the pc app. Let me know if you run into problems can try to help
