Natchez Trace

Any of you hunt or hunted Natchez trace in the past? It's fairly close to me and have only been on it once. Tons of people I work with ride side by sides there so I'm wondering if it's even worth hunting with all the traffic. Lost some of my hunting ground and trying to look at other options.

They cut out a lot of the trails for riding. Not saying some people might not still be on them but there is a lot of land out there regardless and no problem to get away from the trails. Its been years since i turkey hunted it though

I've got one buddy at work that squirrel hunts it so I'm gonna talk to him about some areas that may not be ridden as much.

Best chance will be the first 10 days. So many roads across the place, the birds get pressured and hit the dirt very quickly. Few places to get deep and away from folks. Beautiful woods though!

I have rode 4 wheelers out there and hunted a few times. I know I always look at the kill numbers and several are taken out each year. If it is like most public land. Hunt during the week and get off the beaten path.
