Left home on Thursday afternoon and headed to Natchez Trace for my first time. Went in blind Friday morning. Nothing this was probally the wors spot I ever hunted. Spent a couple hours at lunch looking around and found a awsome spot. Killed a spike that evening at 530. My cousin ended up killing a big 8pt Saturday morning. So the 4.5 hr drive was worth it I passed a few other deer up looking for big daddy.

I've thought about taking off up there with my Son. What kind of pressure does that place get and where do ya stay?

Congrats, some thick stuff in there. Never hunted it, but fishing up there on browns creek lake, hung a lure close to the bank, and when I went in to get it I saw some very nice rubs. This was year before last in mid Feb.
