Had to try it, fried some of my turkey breast and made a hot chicken sauce from a recipe I found online. Reduced amount of cayenne but added ghost pepper. Needs less sugar than the recipe says, might add more ghost next time. Regardless, it was some dang good hot turkey. The breading is lefty's chicken and fish breading. Gonna make it again for sure, tweak the recipe, and maybe post it here if anyone is interested.

Looks awesome and I bet tasted great! Please share the recipe when you have time.

Id also appreciate a good leg/thigh recipe if ya have one? I have tried them twice with no luck and dont want to throw them away! Tried crockpot over night and par boiled then baked.
Crockpot wasnt to bad but not what I was looking for.

I can post the tweaked recipe for the sauce, but it hasn't been tested yet. It's just spices and frying oil mixed together.

The turkey is dry rubbed with just a little salt and pepper, let sit a couple hours, then dipped in egg wash, breading, more egg wash and more breading. I used lefty's fish n chicken breading and it was good. Fried in peanut oil.

ok so yall quit asking this is the adjusted recipe that I will use next time. I found the original recipe online, reduced cayenne and added ghost pepper, but it needed less sugar and I wanted more ghost kick. So I reduced sugar and increased ghost pepper for this version:
1 cu oil
4 tbsp cayenne
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp ghost pepper
1 tsp chili
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp paprika

I heated the oil on the stove somewhat so it would infuse better. Whisk it together and use a basting brush to put it on the chicken/turkey.

If you can find whole dried ghost peppers, they grind perfectly in a coffee grinder. Do not use it for coffee again. I don't know where you can buy ghost peppers, but some stores do sell them. Mine are from my garden a few years ago.

Aren't Ghost peppers hotter than habanero peppers?
yes they are. Used to be the world record a few years ago. Now Carolina Reapers are the hottest in the world. Have some seedlings growing right now.

Yeah the Carolina reapers are no.1 right now. I think the ghost pepper is no.5

Was going to suggest using Reapers... their flavor is SO much better than ghost peppers. I love the fruity, spicy aroma they put off. Absolutely the best tasting hot pepper out there.

My reapers this year are between 2 and 6 inches tall. They will be going out of the greenhouse and into pots and garden very, very soon!

And btw, the turkey looks delicious!

I haven't tasted the reaper yet. Ghost pepper has a good flavor though, I actually get friends and coworkers requesting ghost pepper deer jerky. My reaper plants are about the same size right now. Just started hardening them off the other day and they should be ready to go in the dirt in a week or 2 b
