Nailed it

Celebrated our anniversary last night with a couple filets.
Both of them together weighed in at 1 1/2# !!!

Chopped slits in an onion, added butter and some seasoning.
Everything turned out perfect.
Can't remember ever cooking a better steak.
Got half of mine left for breakfast. :D

OH and the blue bonnet is my wife's. I only use real butter. :)

Sitting here at work looking at those steaks and all I have to look forward to is a bag of pretzels. Life don't seem fair

It sure looks delicious. I could never decide if I wanted my onions raw or fried. Then, I cooked a box of mushrooms with an onion and the deal was made.

However.
I get cheerios for b-fast. I swear I can smell that food.

On Father's Day I got a steak,. Weighed maybe 3 ounces but at least it was rare.
