Boat is ready for the water. New transom, new paint, new trailer, new motor (Mercury four stroke 9.9hp), new Lowrance Hook Reveal 7 DI (I know I know, but I like Lowrance. What can I say).
I was actually wondering about that. Looks like as is, it wouldn't take much to jump that roller.Looks good sir!! Why don't you hook the winch strap to the handle??? It should be below the bow stop...
The boat didn't set at the right height and it caused interference with the trailer jack. So I added an eye hook and have it locked in between the handle and eye hook. I also added a piece of angle behind the eye so I can winch it tight. The angle goes the width of the bow. Plus the strap hook didn't fit through the handle. I see both of you guys thought/ concern. I am going to add a piece of trailer safety chain to the strap bracket and then hook it to the handle. Good catch, thanks.Looks good sir!! Why don't you hook the winch strap to the handle???
