My 15 yr old with his 23rd deer. He has now taken them with rifle, muzzleloader, crossbow, and compound bow. Next up is a .44 magnum revolver.
 
Congrats!

How's the deer hunting in Jefferson County? When I'm up in East TN I always look at Jefferson County as possibly a good area for East TN hunters.
 
Big congrats! Just be careful with the Pistol as I don't think anyone under 18 can legally hunt with a handgun!

There are some pockets of Jefferson County that have pretty good hunting. They are usually near dairy farms where there is a lot of soybeans and corn planted. The deer are in small patches of woods near the farms and they travel basically from one patch to another. Hard to know where they are on a given day, though.

Here's one he got last year.

I see a lot of deer in Jeff cty but heard its hard to get land?
