Very nice. I like the big "tin" rigs. How big is the HPDI? I had a Triton 176 Magnum with 115 Johnson for 5 years, and then upgraded to a Triton 197 Magnum Aluminum with a 200 Optimax last year. There is just something about the big aluminum boats that I like.

Mine has the 200 on it. It runs fast enough for me. I used to fish a lot of tournaments, but don't anymore. I usually just cruise around 55 or 60 when I go now. The front deck on mine is what sold me on it. It is huge. I used to trip over rods and junk, but not anymore.

that is sweet congrats on the ride

how stable are those boats with them big motors when your going across ruff water

It never crosses my mind that this boat is aluminum unless I'm fishing extremly shallow water and then I realize I couldn't fish that water in a big fiberglass. It does really well in waves and such.

Man, that's awesome. What'd it set ya back if ya don't mind me askin?

These boats sold for $29990 when new. I paid considerably less for mine. They don't make the HP 200 anymore.

Good deal man! I love aluminum boats myself, but mine is a plain ol 17 ft Basstracker with a 60 on the back.

Ditto for my Triton as well. I think that the aluminum scares a lot of people because they are thinking about the ride in a 16 ft john boat. Mine rides and jumps up on pad just like a glass boat. Mine also has a huge front deck and is one of the things that I love.

Ain't nothing wrong with a bass tracker. My buddy has one and we catch fish out of it too.

Oh without a doubt. Just hard to fish bigger tourneys out of it as a boater. Wondered how the ride was in a bigger aluminum boat with a bigger motor.

If you ever see a big red Triton aluminum on Center Hill or Cordell Hull with a 200 Optimax, come by and I will take you for a ride. It will most likely be me because it is the only one that I have seen on either lake.
