It is recommended 275gr bullet 60gr H4198. I have some 250 gr bullets I can start with to sight in maybe use 50gr gr H4198. It is something I will have to play with.

I was zeroing it in other day and it shoot the same place at 200 yd as it did at a 100 yd. I have no place to hunt much over 100 yd. but I am going to latter see what it do at 300 yd.

I just got my self one of these. Curious what load did you end up with? I got H4198 on hand, he sent me 300gr bullets. Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks

He sent me the 275 gr and I have been using his recommendation of 60 gr of H4198 with great results. I have shot 3 deer with it and none took a steep.

Call and ask Luke but i would drop back to 55gr of 4198 to start if using a 300gr. That should still be a 2300fps+ load and 58gr will be around 2400fps with a 300gr. That should thump pretty good in a Encore.
