8ft Cultipacker manufactured by United Implements of Red Bay, AL.

It seems to work quite well. Of course this is my first year doing plots so I have no baseline. I thought it would cover my tire tracks a little bit better but the ground was very moist from the monsoons over the weekend.

Cool. I got one a couple of years ago. I think it is 6 feet. Knobby wheels. Works great. Best with heavy weights on it.

They are a great tool for sure. Have a 7' wide one that sticks out about the same from Kubota 3400. Warning - you will get your teeth rattled if you come to close to a tree...

LOL...I've already had a scare or two...maybe even three. My 10 ft bush hog for some reason likes to clash with trees in tight spaces .

A cultipacker is on my list, but I'm thinking I want a smaller one to pull behind the 4-wheeler. Maybe next year.

You should Google or look on Craigslist for Edwards Implements. They have all sizes of packers and they're not far from you in Savannah.

I got lucky and found an old 7' pull behind on CL earlier this year for $250. I had to put it on the open trailer I normally use to haul my 900# Harley and it was still heavy enough to blow one of the tires on the 70 mile trip to the farm. On top of that I've added another 500# of concrete and steel. My old Ford 640 handled it well this year - until I went down that hill and both rear tires were locked up! That was a YeeHaw ride! But it sure help the food plots....

I've seen the Edwards ones on craiglist. As little as I would use one, still might be more than I want to spend.
