What's the overall of your 10/22 when the stock is completely collapsed? I've almost bought that stock a couple of times.

Thanks
David

What stock is that? Tapco ?
Its the tapco T6 stock. If your interested in one,i had a guy offer me a slightly used one in olive green for $45...I paid $70 for mine, wish i would had seen it 2 days soon!

Looks really good! I've got one I'd like to do the same thing to.

Yeah, let us know what the closed length is on that stock. I need something short enough to teach my five year old how to shoot with.

Nice job! ;)

Nice looking gun. About how much is that set up total? I'm saving the 223 ammo now and need something else to practice with.

I gave $223.00 including tax at walmart for the gun,and $70 for the stock, and $30 for the bsa red dot scope. So thats $323..But im going to purchase a 25 round mag tomorrow for $25..Not too bad considering the cost of ammo and the fun a 22lr is.

Okay, with the stock colapsed all the way down,it is 33 3/4 inches. With it all the way out,it is 37 1/2 inches...

Its mounted on a rail that goes over the barrel, that is screwed to the stock.Very solid, its held in place by 6 screws.

i gotta do that
:D :D :D See thats what happens when you hang around other gun nuts.

Have come close to getting one and tricking it out myself. Was real close to getting one those stocks for an SKS of my uncles a while back, opt instead for a mote carlo type instead.

 deal Cecil

That's a really cool set up. I guess the carbine is the same action, just a different length barrel. I know you were worried about fitment...looks like everything worked out ok.
I had a cheap, low power scope on mine and bought a Nikon 3x9 from volsgo1 and swapped them. If you get a chance, try a decent scope on it, you'll be suprised at the accuracy of those rifles. You should be able to swap back and forth with that rail system on that stock.
Cool set up. My wife has pretty much claimed mine when she started "pinging" our steel target.

I picked up a 25round mag today from the local gun shop and came home and ran 2 full mags (50 rnds) though it and not one malfunction!I love that red dot and the stock, she just feels so good. And I don't feel bad for shooting it either!!Ammo prices ain't bad.LOL

its a green mountain fluted bull 18"bbl and a bell and carlson stock. I did a little trigger work to it and ancored the rear of the reciever. I need to bed the action and get a scope mounted on it. Its a fun little gun to shoot.
