I just picked up a mint, Rem 700 BDL Deluxe Engraved 30-06. It is unfired. It is gorgeous. Almost too gorgeous to hunt with. I will post pics later when I'm not feeling so lazy.

:cool: and congrats.

Looks like that ones been around a while,when you top it off might consider looking for engraved rings for it. Redfield had some at one time I think that would match up well.Millet still makes some but the finsh might not match as well.
 
I am going to shoot Remington an e-mail in the morning w/the serial # to see how old it is. The pics don't do it justice. I use to have a 700, sold it, and regretted it ever since and for what I paid for this rifle, I really feel like I got a HECK of a deal.

Thanks. It came floated from the factory. I'm not sure if it is bedded or not. I wanna get it glass bedded if not. I just can't bring myself to take the action out of the stock yet. I don't wanna booger up the action screws. I need to go shoot it. If it is sub-moa I may just leave it alone for now.
