this is the only pic i got after 5 weeks that was worth anything.....the catch......by cam was 8 ft off the ground and mere inches above the water when this pic was taken.....that late june flood was something else.

The good thing is your camera was 8' off the ground. I learned the hard way not to put a camera at knee level when close proximity to a flashy creek. Few years back we got some torrential downpours in December and water ran out of my camera when I opened the door about a week later. Believe it or not, the memory card was still good and I viewed the pics, but everything else went in the garbage. I won't make that same mistake again.

We lost a camera last year to flooding...academy replaced it for free on warranty. It was a wild game...sucks though not getting to see deer this time of year but it would suck worse to not see them around mid October!!! Hope that place doesn't take more water on
