Will y'all please quit obsessing about scent! Now it is farts and harnesses. What next, ear wax?

Now I am just using the body wash/shampoo when I shower before hunting. Laundry is done in scent free all natural soap anyway.
So far the 2 deer I have killed were both with no scent control or camo, so I decided to save money and quit buying so much scent away. Might just use a little of it through the rest of the season for my gear once in a while.

BUT...when I scout (tweak) my stands on mature deer hunts, I want to be as clean as possible. When I hunt "everyday deer" I don't worry as much. I just play the wind.
So far, this season, I have arrowed 6 deer. 3 bucks and 3 does. ALL were UP wind at the shot.
I have been busted once, by wind. And have hunted "dirtier" and "stinkier" than ever before.
But these were all younger aged deer, except one.
BTW, shots ranged from 5 to 42 yards. All high pressured, public land except one.
Blood and Las Margaritas stench all over my camo. But a short walk in and out. And ZERO scouting. (I did this weeks before)
BUT...soon I am heading North for what I hope will be a big buck encounter on Public land. I will practice extreme scent precaution when going after these deer. They are tough, smart, wary and I will devote MANY days to filling my tag.
ALWAYS hunt the wind FIRST!
