Mine was a left handed Flintlock Tennessee Mountain Rifle from Dixie Gun Works in Union City,TN. I think it was 1985. Black powder and patched round balls. Those were the days.

My first was a t/c hawken in 45. kept it a few years then traded to a renegade 50 cal for a few more years and eventually to a knight 93.....then a Winchester apex 150 grn banger.....then to the current CVA Accura V2 in 50 cal.

My first was a .45 perc Ky long rifle I built from a kit. It was a total piece of crap by some no name company and the barrel loved to rust it seemed no matter how oiled up you kept it.
Shortly thereafter about 1980ish I got a TC Hawken .45 cal perc kit and that was a good gun, killed my first little buck with it.

A CVA Bobcat purchased at Bass Pro on sale for $75. Wasn't anything special and it did cause me to miss a deer but it shot fair. Gun was in my buddy's car when he got in an accident. Last I ever saw of it.
