I finally got to pick up my rifle today and it turned out great! I've had a bunch of the parts for 7 or 8 years and finally decided to get it done. It started life as a stainless 270 barreled action that I bought from a fellow member. I had that barrel removed and had a 22" Brux 280 installed in a bell and Carlson medalist stock. Action was blueprinted and all trued up. Bolt work was done by LRI. Then it was all cerakoted in graphite black. For now I topped it with a vortex viper 2.5-10x44. Can't wait to see how it shoots!

Why spend all that money on bolt and not having bolt knob threaded. I found out hard way , time I bought rem 700 action, had it trued, blueprinted, sako extract, and everything else I went been better to have just bought custom action . Would have came out cheaper. But you have nice looking gun. I have a stock in that color red on my stw.

I'll probably be taking it back out to the gunsmith in a few months to have him put a knob on there. He builds them.
I think they look and feel better when working bolt
