Something has been destroying my hog feeders. Since the hog population has been reduced by my efforts I am seeing deer and turkeys. Before you saw nothing.

When I arrived today my bait barrel had been moved. It is chained to a steel post so it probably wasn't going to get moved very far.

Sure enough, it was a BEAR that destroyed my feeder! I just put out a bucket feeder up in a tree. I made a frame and secured it to the tree with wood screws. Hopefully the bear doesn't get it.

On top of that the landowner ran over the poles to my big feeder. I'm trying to find some more poles to fix it. Since this is the fifth time I've had it destroyed perhaps it is time to replace it.

Bears will destroy everything in sight usually. I'm surprised it didn't get your camera. They love blinds too. I've got one camping on one of my baits right now and keeping the hogs off of it. I'm hoping my farmer neighbor with a permit will axe it soon.

The landowner wants me to leave it alone. I will bet he changes his mind when it tries to get into his travel trailer! [emoji846]

He told me to go buy a bigger pistol. I almost always have a bear capable rifle with me. I am not afraid of it but I dont want my feeders ruined.
