Food Plots My fall plot

my fall plot did great considering it was over grazed cattle ground and then grew up in a bunch of crap .. I frost seeded Durana a month ago
Lots of small sprouts . It's looking good
I wish I would have taken pics of where I cleared it,
To what it looks like now. You couldn't even walk thru it

Great looking field ! With those cedars in that area I'd think the ground wouldn't be good but your plot says different .

I am surprised as well
That food plot has a strip of woods on each side and it's a creek bottom
The plot is also surrounded w standing corn
360 degrees
It did pretty good also

It also had beans peas and sunflowers surrounding it
The beans peas and sunflowers are 100 percent gone
The corn has a lot left

My corn did great. I still have 30-40% of my standing corn uneaten and looks perfect. No mold or anything. I have high deer numbers and cameras show them in it but it's still not all gone. Crazy

That's a good sign that they're getting everything they need!

My fall plots have really bounced back in March. They were eaten to the ground in February.

yes. my wheat patches have really come back. they were so overly grazed in the winter, im surprised they were able to endure

You're going to kill back the wheat and let the perennial clover come on strong?

Mushroom hunting this afternoon I swung through one of our plots and looked for sheds. Its really greened up nicely. Some remnants of clover in lower section but it needs attention.
