I sure hope the forecast for muzzleloader opener holds true in my area. On the mountain its calling 30*-33* lows and high 48*-50*. I wished it drop some and there would be frost. Midweek it's in the mid to upper 60's and hopefully the cold front on the opener will be the kickstart for mature bucks to get up sooner
 
I took the first week of muzzleloader season off last year. And it was in the 70s and 80s with high humidity. Last year set a low bar. Any improvement over that and I'll be thrilled.

Forecast looks good as of right now, but sure it will change between now and then. At this point, not sure if my wife is hunting the opening morning or if I am. Being in cwd high risk, get to hunt with rifle.
 
Bring it on. Firearm season (MZer, Rifle, Shotgun, etc) opens November 6 here in Unit CWD. We basically have no need for a MZer these days, unless a hunter just wants to tote one.
