Music Row Food Plot---Rhett Akins

Just thought Id share this story with yall. I have a food plot customer who is a song writer who is a great guy and has many, many hits to this credit, and he frequents the #1 spot on the charts for the songs he writes and co-writes. One day he told me he had a buddy who need a small plot done up in Pegram. So he send me his number, and it was country singer, songwriter Rhett Akins. Rhett is apart of a 2200 acre lease right off I=40. When I met him to look at it, I thought it was pretty cool that the property was tracked up by numbers with good signs. I didnt have time to make many photo's as I was rushing to get done with the job, but I ended up doing 3 small bow hunting plots, putting down my fall mix and topping off with some annual clovers.

Cool stuff, I have been offered to hunt different celebrities properties. One was a famous former coach that I really wanted to hunt but I am not the type to follow up. The other is an artist that bow hunts and has several properties that adjoin him that are killer. That one I thought about. Very cool, Justin Have fun with it and enjoy yourself. Guys, let's be civil about this, I think the ole chisel has enough life left in it to go around for everyone!! Although she has needed a few welding repairs this fall. My dad and I were talking about it breaking, and he said it was probably designed to be used with a 40hp 2wd gas burner, and not a turbocharged 65hp 4wd diesel tractor!! Id say he is probably correct!! LOL
