We were out in one of our yearly haunts for opening weekend, and went to check a salt lick on the way back to the truck. I knelt down by the lick to check the tracks, and noticed some smushed up berries right beside the salt lick. As I looked around, I realized we had placed the salt lick ( a few years back) right under a Muscadine tree and didnt even realize it! My question is: Do deer like these things? I am assuming so, since they have pillaged every persimmon tree I've ever come across. I've never seen one of these in the wild in TN before, but they are pretty common where i'm from in southern MS.
