Went with a friend yesterday afternoon in MS gulf waters. Nice seas, so we went out to the fish havens in his 21ft center console. Got my limit of snapper, then came back into nearshore for specks. Caught 20 specks, all undersized. Got spined by a gafftop, finger still swollen. Sitting at the house waiting on storms to pass, hope to repeat yesterday's action. Good day on the water!

Tough day today with the weather. Left at 930 and stayed inshore... too rough to go for snapper. Caught a bunch of white trout, 10 to 12 specks (kept 2) and a nice 15in flounder. Was supposed to fish tomorrow, but storms incoming all day, so headed back home.

Looks like a great time minus the weather, I swear it hurts so bad to get hit from a salt water cat, been told to rub the slime on the wound but don't want nothing to do with it , heck might finish me off lol

Excellent! I was born and raised in Pascagoula and used to fish the waters around Horn Island and lots of inshore stuff around Bangs bayou in that area.
