Movement

Driving around this afternoon I have seen a good bit of deer movement. Anyone else seeing them move around?

I counted 64 yesterday evening driving around. 3 dandy bucks, but only 2 fawns which worries me. That was Morgan Co.

still a little early to see alot of fawns. They are still "hiding".

I hope your right and they are hiding, Ive been getting pics of a few fawns running around with momma for 6 weeks now.

I've seen plenty of fawns were I'm at. Most while walking through thickets to get to my cameras.

Quite a few bucks and doe too.

Since the rain started here last wed morn. i have seen deer everywhere and turkeys and poults!!!

too much corn planted around my area to see much of anything in the fields...lol.

I'd say the rain and lack of excessive heat had them up moving around....

can't wait !!!

They are moving good here every morning and evening. I would say this is just about a carbon copy of last year with the exception of possibly a few less fawns.

Over the past month, I have seen 11 different bucks, all small, the oldest probably 2.5. That is normal for here. One of my landowners said he saw a "big buck" last week but big is alwways subjective when talking with a landowner.
