Move or not?

I went yesterday, and really didn't see much except a small 6" spike. The area I hunt is public land... So keeping that in mind. Late in the evening I was hunting a field that was bordered on 2 sides by a heavy thicket with some very thick timber. One other side has small timber and is very rocky, with big upturned shelf rock sticking out of the ground... many yards down the other end is the way leading up to the field, with mature forest on the other side. I heard some late, late action up in the thicket across from where I was sitting right before sundown, but they seemed to be headed toward the boardering property, which is a farm with lots of other fields, But I don't have permission to hunt it, and likely won't be able to. Because it's posted. Dunno if I should stick it out there, because its just a mowed field with not much in the way of food... just some green grass. My guess is they are eating on the neighboring property and are bedding in that thicket... how to get a shot at em without spooking them?

Get in the woods somewhere. Public land deer will not mive in fields very much.. Too much pressure.

I kind of thought that too, but seeing as how its long field, but pretty narrow from one side to the other. I was hoping there might be some crossing. Although I looked beforehand and couldn't see any obvious places where they had been coming out of the thicket... my dilemma is I know theres deer in that thicket. I was up in it last year... rubs and scrapes and bedding areas everywhere. But, I use a climbing stand and it'd be nearly impossible to get in there with one on your back... and even harder to see anything IF I found a tree good enough to even climb. Plus if I disturb their bedding area and they sense it, then theres no chance... the thicket continues onto the neighboring property where I'm sure they are eating. Just, frustrating knowing they are there without no clear way to get to them, other than camping out on the other side toward the woods I guess and hoping to get lucky.
