I'm in the market for a couple closed reed mouth calls. I really like the laminate wood looking ones but there is so many call makers and I have no idea who makes good ones. So what is every ones favorite mouth call? Who makes it? A link to their website would be great if they have one. To be honest I will probably just harass my wife's cats with them and hunt with the Fox Pro but I like to look important when I head to the woods! :D

I have ask this same thing and I was told a suck Tweety call is a good way to go. I have ordered one but it is not here yet....

There are a lot of good call makers out there. I don't have time to make to many anymore and the ones I do make are probably more than you want to spend starting out. A couple call making buddy's I'll recomend are.

Kerry Carver Click Here for his site.

Rudy Click Here

Rick Robbins Click Here I don't actually have one of Ricks calls but I've always heard good things about them.

They're all great guys and easy to deal with. Tell 'em Brad sent you... they'll charge you a few dollars extra! lol Hope this helps.

There are more good call makers out there, these are just a few guys I know will treat you right.

Just for kicks this is the last one I did make... the bead and tone board (mouth piece) are made from Buffalo Horn, the barrel is Red Morrell burl.

My favorite go to call is my crack rabbit by crack predator calls. They have some nice wood ones but love the Acrylic ones.
