I'm trying to ease off the obsessive part of it. I have a daughter that's almost 2 and don't have the time needed to really chase after the big ones. This year I decided to simplify my methods and just hunt. I went back to hunting sign and areas the big ones have historically hung out in.

Also, I find myself getting super possessive of bucks that I watch grow into shooters and tend to get bitter when someone else shoot him (especially people that haven't put in the time/work). This was taking away from the experience for me.

Despite not using cameras, I still managed to get three opportunities at mature bucks. I can't complain about that!
 
Nice buck dude, I've been lurking waiting to see what you would haul out this year. Congrats.

On a side note I saw a legit 150"+ buck yesterday a few miles east of you yesterday while grouse hunting
