I've got a couple moultrie mobiles never used. It says you can use 8 or 16 batteries. What's the battery life like using 8 vs 16. I know double would make sense but asking real world results on battery life.

It all depends on pics activated, I run 16 on a home Moultrie of my driveway and get 2-3 months life out of 16 batteries. But woods ones i run solar charger on them and get a year life out of batteries. Solar charger bout $100 well worth extra investment….
