Moultrie M-80 settings help

Please help. I bought a moultrie m80 and I have put it out over several baited spots. Everytime I go back to check it the bait is gona but no pictures. All my other cameras are working flawlessly. Can someone please tell me whats settings I need to have every category to make this camera work. Im not intrested in video capture just still capture. Currently settings are:

Capture mode-Trail camera
Photo quality-Medium
Photo delay-15 sec
Multi shot count-2shot count

Sounds like you have it set correctly. May be a defective camera. Turn on the IR test and see if it triggers by looking at the LED on the left front of the camera.

It has a counter on the display to show how many pics been taken. when u check it again walk in front of it a few times and see if it triggers.

Settings should work...could be a defective camera

You have to set it up and test it in different conditions. If it has a default setting reset it to that. Make sure your card is good.

There maybe an update available on the net, try that but (happened to me) it may send your computer into fits opening up one page after another till you shut the computer down just to get it to stop.

If you just bought it take it back, it should work right out of the box. If something doesn't work for me apart from assembly I don't fool around with it, back in the box and out of here, it's also why I only buy from places that allow returns without a hassle.

i had the same problem with my m80 i called there service line and they sent me a email with an attachment in the email the took an sd card and down loaded it on to the card and put the card in your camera and hit download and POOF!!!! it was fixed more less he sent me a new software version. hope this helps
