Moultrie d40 ?

What would make it quit flashing? It just started doing this it will take a few with no flash then it will take one with flash then it will go back to not flashing agin. Any ideas?

Batteries are low or bad is usually the case in mine.

Mine does it sometimes at daybreak and sunset. Seems it cant decide if it should flash or not
