Mothers Day hunt

Had another quick hunt yesterday evening after church/lunch with the family. I headed to my cousins house after we got through having lunch and he said he needed to go to town for last night's fish fry. I say, ok, I'll drive. We get a few miles from town and stopped at a tall grass field that i have permission to hunt. Lookin through the specs, I see a fan just barely sticking up over the grass. I tell my cousin, go ahead and run to the store and i'll see if i can kill him before you get back. So, I rummage through my back seat to scrounge up a spare set of camoflauge and head out. 20 minutes later I meet back up with him at the gate with a heck of a bird....22lbs, 10 3/4" and 1.25" hooks. Have pics but don't have them uploaded to photobucket yet. It was a great weekend!!
