Anyone have opinions about these two companies? Do they have good report?

I know a couple guys that work for whitetail properties. One in Illinois and one in Missouri, great guys and consider them great friends but I've never done any kind of business with the company.

Are the properties they sell overpriced? I don't pay a real estate agent in cost of the property but % of the property. Happier to increase their share % wise for experience and knowledge but don't rip me off on the land. Trying to seek if they are in the realm of comps.

We are signing a contract today for 300 acres. Whitetail properties has the adjoining farm listed for 3x's what we are paying per acre. And it has no timber value. Overpriced? All in what someone is willing to pay I guess.
