Did anyone stop by teh mossy oak booth at the NWFT convention? They had a sawtooth oak and overcup oak 20 foot tall or so, with a 2-3 inch caliper trunk. They were claiming both of them to be only 3 yrs old. HA! are you serious? My buddy was with me who is a horticulturalist blew a fuse! I have to say i couldnt believe it either. And they had a root ball 6-12 inches from the trunk.

Anyway wanted to see if anyone noticed it.
 
I dont think its impossible. Ive got a few that are 3 years old that are 15 ft tall. Good Soil take care of em they will grow.
 
Yeah, I bought 4 sawtooth oaks from them. I offered to buy the large sawtooth but another guy had bought it. I did ask specific questions on how they accomplished it. He was very straight forward on his answers. I will save his responses because It will accomplish nothing on this thread. I will just say I am going to buy more from them and no I didn't drink the kool-aid.

I stopped to check out the mossy oak booth and will say that they were very arrogant and acted as if they did not need me as a customer.So i will carry my business to brier ridge plot seed. They seem to want to cater to the customer.
 
They were a pleasure to talk with, and answered all of my questions on some of there products I hadn't tried. Nontyp, did you feel like they were condescending towards you? Usually they're pretty professional folks.
