Mossberg 4x4

Anybody got any reviews on the Mossberg 4x4? Saw what appears to be an ok price on one and in a caliber that I would like to try. Not crazy about the stock but the action seemed descent. Thought about purchasing and changing stocks to a little more suitable one. Give me some feedback.

There are much better actions out there than Mossbergs. Marlin XL7/XS7, Ruger American, and Savage/Stevens. They all have better stocks than the 4x4, which is aptly named.

If your set on a Mossberg get the atr much better feeling than the 4x4 just fill the hollow stock with fiberglass makes em handle much better. For the same money you can get the xl7 marlin which is a much better felling rifle with a little stock fillin.
