Moon Phases?

I know this topic has been covered before, but I am confused. Mainly due to a school project that me and my 7 year old daughter are doing right now. So my question is what phases of the moon do you see the most activity when deer hunting and why?

I thinks it's a factor, not the factor...but have seen midday movement on full moon, but not good morning movement. My theory is they're out all night feeding like its daylight
