Started seeing more activity yesterday! been slow the last few weeks in south Montgomery! the prime time in my area was the last week of Oct. and first two weeks of Nov.

Monday afternoon I seen a young buck chasing a yearling doe. Then they stopped within 20 yards fed for 10 mins and started chasing again. The big boys should be at it again by this weekend.

Hunted sat morning and saw 0 deer. First time this season with fifteen to 20 hunts that I didn't see a deer. But things happen and I'm not going to let it slow me down.

What part of Montgomery county do you guys hunt? I have a place in Woodlawn, a place on hwy 13 and a few places near south side.

I hunt in Palmyra off hwy 149. I also hunt the 46 acres I live on in Cheatham County. Just bought the 46 in June so I'm still trying to pattern the deer.
Second rut should fire up starting this weekend I think.

I'm hunting at the end of Lylewood Rd. and things have been slow the past week. I will still be out there this weekend though.

I hunt mostly off 48 at the Montgomery/Dickson county line! also hunt in the Salem area some!
