Montana Elk 2013..............

Spent some time with my bride in the great State of Montana hunting sheds. When buying plane tickets far in advance it was impossible to know that bulls were going to be much later in dropping antlers this year.

We found some whitey and muley sheds too. All in all a great trip to see such beautiful country, alot of game, and pick up some great sheds! Hopefully will find out next week if the BULL gods were with me and I drew a bull tag for this fall!

As usual, the big boys blow out earlier and faster than the little boys. All the bulls we saw had their horns on. Lucky to find some for sure.

We found this horn just like this. Very seldom do you find horns stuck in the ground. Cool!!

The bigger the bone the more likely they are to fall closer together. Big boys don't like their head gear unbalanced anymore than we do! This is a very nice bull for sure.
