Rackseeker, I was sick when I saw this pic and that you had him on your property because I've been scouting this buck all summer, and then I realized it's not the same buck lol! I swear they could pass for brothers, but the one I am on is a 6 and a lititle shorter at least as of mid-July. How old do you think that buck is?
IDK, I would guess 4.5 , I would be highly surprised if anyone had pics of this deer where he is right now. In a couple weeks when they range shift who knows where he will be. I would like for my nephew to take him.
Yeah that's about what I was thinking after I saw that second pic you posted of him. Really nice and unique buck for sure. Good luck keeping tabs on him and getting the nephew a crack at him.
I thought my 5 was big...we guessed this dude was 6.5 years old based on several previous seasons of sightings. The picture of him on hoof was from an old 35mm Moultrie.[/attachment]
Weighed 235 and the meat was so tough we couldn't eat it....Messed up not getting someone to look at the jawbone.
Should have heard the stories of the 24" 4 point crossing the road going into the swamp. Big time ground shrinkage but still 17" and the biggest bodied deer ever plus in was a muzzleloader buck!
