I hunted Cumberland right beside it. Numbers aren't great but decent. There are some very nice bucks in this region. The hills are short and not to steep. I have not hunted in Monroe but I have been to Tomkinsville several times and it looks nice. Lots of corn and beans raised around there. I will hunt it for you if you don't want to, lol!

Lol! Me and a buddy got permission to hunt it by a guy that lives here in lawrenceburg, his family owns it. He said it hasn't been hunted but just a handful of times in the last few years. I guess we're gonna drive up there one day and do some scouting and see if we think it's worth buying KY license for.. When does the rut usually kick of in that area?
 
I live about 5 miles from the Ky. line that goes into Monroe County. There are some really good deer in Monroe Co. It would definitely be worth a good scouting around. They have a weekend ML season next month and Gun season opens sometime in Nov. The rut should be wide open by the time gun season rolls around.
 
I live in TN but literally a stones throw from Monroe County. There are definitely some good deer in the county. I like the terrain of the north west end better than the south east.
