Granted our results are skewed due to the fact that we have very very few "new ducks".
Last weekend a friend of man's that is hunting Gooch (where we hunt) called and told him they had duck after duck come in, circle a couple times then flare off.
He said finally after looking everything over they went out into the spread and took every motion decoy they had up.
He said minutes after that they started whackin the ducks.
Is it possible that since literally EVERY blind on the wma has multiple spinning wing decoys, vortex machines and all sorts of spinning, water squirting decoys that the ducks have figured out if they see all that they are gonna get peppered if they go down there?
I can see this happening, especially when the vast majority of the duck population in the area are indeed local ducks.
We have tried it with and without and basically saw no difference.
Of course when your day consists of one group of woodies early and then NOTHING, it really isn't a test imho.
What say ye?
