I'm needing to mount a leupold 2-7x33 on a newly acquired model seven 3 hole. What are my best options? Not really wanting to get the 4th hole drilled and tapped just yet. Not really wanting any downtime at the smith right now. I need to work a load up for it before November gets here.

Have to be a one-piece base.

I had a problem recently and needed a new base for an older black powder gun.

Screwed around and around trying to find something less expensive and ended up getting it anyway.

Soon as you find one, snap it up.

Best of luck.

IDK if they still make them but I have a set of Weaver 2 piece bases on one of mine and a Leupold STD one piece on the other,,

I used a 2 piece base by Warn with picatinny slots made for a 4 hole on a 3 hole action till I got it D&T, never came loose and shot fine.

My old model 788 is a 3 hole and I used weaver 2 piece bases. The rear base has just one hole and it has held zero with no problem.thought I would have to use a 1 piece before I found the weavers.

Thanks for the help. I actually ordered a dnz and it fit and works perfectly. I decided to go with it since it was a one piece. I normality use talley but I was afraid that rear ring would move with only one mounting screw.
