Mock Scrape

Really thinking about doing a couple mock scrapes towards the end of this month to try to get a buck inventory. Where I hunt there are quite a few cows and salt licks are not practical. Anyone done this and had success? If so what was your procedure?

Find a travel route. "BELOW" an over hanging branch scrape the ground clean and piss in it. Best lure going. Keep as scent free as possible doing it.
