Took my youngest son yesterday morning to Percy Priest trolling Bandit crankbaits. We weren't there five minutes when we hooked up on a 10 lb flathead that just about pulled him in the water. It was fun watching him fight a fish that size that fights that hard. The fun part of trolling is you never know what you are going to catch. We had white bass, crappie, largemouth, catfish (two species) and yellow stripe yesterday morning. We kept the bass (16 inches) and a few crappie and yellow stripe. The catfish got released because he was too big to fit in my cooler.
All fish caught on 300 series Bandits in bright colors (hot pink and chartreuse) trolling 1.5-2.0 mph in 13-18 feet of water.
