my target is almost due south from my bench,,the wind was pretty calm this evening so I thought I would try a couple groups at 300 yards from the 223,,it was around 4PM and the sun was starting to go in behind the trees but was still full light.
with the gun on the bags in a dead rest,,over a time of about 90 second to 2 minutes I watched the target move a foot to 16 inches to the right,,I mean slow and steady straight across,,
I dont think it was mirage as there is still snow but I dont know,I think it was the sun going down so fast that the light rays were causing the illusion of the target moving..
am I insane or is this possible,,
