The dang wind showed to be calm on the weather app but I had a steady south wind of probably 7mph or so. My setup was a Remington 541S barreled action that I had put into a 541T stock just because I don't like the high gloss RKW finish on the S stock. I had not shot this rig since swapping the socks but both rifles were shooting great before and my confidence was high that very little adjustment would be needed.
Started with SK Rifle Match and it shot decent enough and then switched to my go-to ammo for all things 22LR, SK Standard +. It turns out that either one will work for squirrel hunting but the S+ held a slight edge. The target was set at 40 measured yards.
The 5 shots in the center were getting it sighted for the dots after swapping stocks.
