I have a minox zv 3 on my h&r converstion. Had it sighted in good at 100yds back in march. Got it out today to check zero. First shot was 2 inches low and 2 to the left. Adjusted the scope and next shot was good left and right but it hit about 2 inches high. So I made the proper. AAdjustments down and next shot hit the same spot. Almost the same hole. So I adjusted it down again and shot and it hit in the same spot again. It will not adjust down. And when it does decide to adjust it moves up. Called minox they agreed to fix or replace it. Said if they get it by next week I should have it back by Nov 8. I'm gonna put a redfield revolution on it and sight it in with it. I guess 58grs of N120 was too much for the minox.

The ZV line is more of their budget models but a lot of people are using them with good results. I had a ZA-3 on 2 smokeless guns at one time (H&R and a Savage ML-II) and both tracked well and held zero.

Glad to hear they are going to stand behind it though. From my experience dealing with Nikon, there's no way you'd have a scope back from them by November 8th. It would take them that long just to inspect it.

That's why I'm just gonna sight it in with the redfield. I don't have faith in them getting it back to me in time.

The ZA3s I have are great scopes.

The Revolutions I have are problem free so far.

I put a Bushnell Dusk-Dawn on a smokeless last year and tried to kill it and can't.

Scopes are weird.

The minox is on its way to NH. I'll update you guys on how well minox handles this. In the meantime I put the redfield on it and got it sighted in good at 100yds. The redfields track very well.

I think Minox uses great glass but like roost said there quality seems to be lacking.

I sent a Vortex back to them for service on Oct 22. They had it fixed and back in my hand on Oct 30! Total of 8 days including the weekend and FedEx time. They had it in their shop 2 days. I don't know of many companies that can beat that.

I love stories of good service. Been looking at Vortex Diamondbacks and golad to hear they stand behind the product.

They serviced the Diamondback and sent it back to me. I mounted it back on the 50cal muzzleloader and it lasted 6-8 shots and went crazy again. They did email me a shipping label to send it back again so I wouldn't have to pay shipping. I have other Diamondbacks and they have been fine. I think this one is just a lemon from the start. The lady I talked to had me send it to her and said they would more than likely just replace it instead of repairing it again.
