I have a three bank battery charger. Two are hooked on to lithium batteries and one one a regular marine battery. This last time I charged the batteries it showed all three fully charged. Took the boat out and the regular battery was dead. Jumped it and went fishing. Had to jump again to head back in. Figured the battery was toast. Check it with a battery tester, said it needed charging. Took it out and charged it up on a regular charger. When done checked it again on the battery tester, said fully charged 12.8v, 720cca of the 750cca rating. Could one of the banks on the minn kota charger go bad? If so, can I still use the other two banks, and not hook up the third. Or just get a new charger. The minn kota is less the 3 years old.

Are you sure something is not draining the battery as the boat sits unused?I had that problem. Found I had a usb outlet for my phone that was slowly draining the battery as the boat sat. Bought a cutoff switch for that starter battery, after charging I turning off and haven't had a problem since.

Does it have a green light for each battery when charged? I had 1 that only had 1 light that indicated all 3 were charged. Blown fuse in lead to one battery. Did not recognize it was hooked to 3 batteries. Replaced that charger.
